We Live Amongst Digital Ghosts

• We can meet someone for five minutes yet spend hours, if not days or weeks, looking at digital representations of them.
• As our bodies know them, they are dead but we have reanimated them in our minds. They continue to exist as part of our lives.
• Not only are these people alive digitally, they also grow and transform. We see them go on holiday, get married and have children.
• To continue to reanimate the dead implies a lack of living in one’s immediate vicinity.
