• I’ve met many people who are children of divorces whose explicit reason for getting married and having kids is to give them what they didn’t have.
• Something about this smells wrong, like they’re using their kids’ lives as a way to heal their own trauma. The past cannot be addressed through others, only through yourself. Feels like a fantasy played out in reality.
