• I am meeting more and more women who can picture themselves as mothers without their current partner even if that partner is the one that would get them pregnant.
• On one hand, this makes sense because men have abandoned women for millennia with their babies so having a contingency is only prudent. On the other hand, the bloodlessness of the planning seems off, like the contingency is the likeliest outcome.
• There is more stigma for a woman to get sperm from a sperm bank than to be impregnated by a guy that she doesn’t fully trust to be a father.
