We Live Amongst Digital Ghosts

We can meet someone for five minutes yet spend hours, if not days or weeks, looking at digital representations of them.
As our bodies know them, they are dead but we have reanimated them in our minds. They continue to exist as part of our lives.
Not only are these people alive digitally, they also grow and transform. We see them go on holiday, get married and have children.
To continue to reanimate the dead implies a lack of living in one’s immediate vicinity.
